{"id":248,"date":"2015-10-07T19:47:32","date_gmt":"2015-10-07T18:47:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/psaa.meil.pw.edu.pl\/?p=248"},"modified":"2015-10-07T20:25:53","modified_gmt":"2015-10-07T19:25:53","slug":"ceas-2015-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/psaa.meil.pw.edu.pl\/?p=248","title":{"rendered":"CEAS 2015 Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"only_thislanguage\" lang=\"en\">[tp not_in=&#8221;pl&#8221; lang=&#8221;en&#8221; only=&#8221;y&#8221;]<\/span><strong>Short information about the 5th European CEAS Conference on Aviation and Space Technologies (Air &amp; Space Conference)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>5th European Air &amp; Space Conference was held in Delft in the Netherlands on 7-11 September. Just like 4 previous conferences, this one was also hosted by\u00a0 CEAS (Council of European Aerospace Societies). Previous conferences were held in Berlin (2007), Manchester (2009), Venice (2011) and Link\u00f6ping (2013). During the conference, 175 papers from 25 countries were presented, as well as 7 plenary lectures, held by 2 or sometimes 3 speakers from different research institutes, government agendas or industry. The number of registered participants was over 500. Two Workshops, one of AFloNEXT project, the other organised by EWADE (European Workshop for Aircraft Design Education), were joined with the conference. Most lectures were prepared by European authors, although several presentations by non-european institutes were also noted. Polish lectures were notable, prepared mainly by the Faculty of Power and Aeronautical Engineering (Warsaw University of Technology) and researchers from other facilities. Regrettably, it should be noted that hosts did not take enough care of choosing proper session leaders, which was probably a result of random Polish representation in the so called Conference Science Committee. This matter was discussed during CEAS Trustees Board meeting by our representatives.<\/p>\n<p>On the CEAS Trustees Board meeting, the location of next CEAS conference was also chosen. In the decisive second secret voting, Warsaw proposed by PSAA got 5 votes and Bucharest proposed by AAAR (Asociatia Aeronautic\u00e2 si Astronautic\u00e2 a Rom\u00e2niei) got 6 votes. Moscow proposed by the Russians got only 1 vote in the first voting, but this one vote turned out to be decisive in the second voting.<\/p>\n<p>The scientific level of the conference should be regarded as high, after every lecture serious discussions on presented matters were held. The plenary lectures, which got a lot of attention, were on especially high level. Tak jak 4 poprzednie konferencje i ta ostatnia by\u0142a zorganizowa\u0142a przez CEAS (Council of European Aerospace Societies). Poprzednie konferencje odby\u0142y si\u0119 kolejno w Berlinie (2007), Manchesterze (2009), Wenecji (2011) i Link\u00f6ping (2013). Na konferencji przedstawiono oko\u0142o 175 referat\u00f3w z 25 kraj\u00f3w, w kilku regularnych blokach tematycznych oraz 7 referat\u00f3w plenarnych, wyg\u0142aszanych zwykle przez 2 czasami 3 prelegent\u00f3w wywodz\u0105cych si\u0119 z r\u00f3\u017cnych instytucji badawczych, agend rz\u0105dowych lub z przemys\u0142u. Liczba zarejestrowanych uczestnik\u00f3w przekroczy\u0142a 500. Konferencji towarzyszy\u0142y r\u00f3wnie\u017c 2 du\u017ce Workshopy, jeden po\u015bwi\u0119cony projektowi Europejskiemu AFloNEXT i drugi zorganizowany przez EWADE (European Workshop for Aircraft Design Education). Wi\u0119kszo\u015b\u0107 referat\u00f3w by\u0142a przygotowana przez autor\u00f3w Europejskich, cho\u0107 odnotowano tak\u017ce kilkana\u015bcie prezentacji przygotowanych przez o\u015brodki poza-Europejskie. Widoczne by\u0142y Polskie referaty, przygotowane g\u0142\u00f3wnie przez pracownik\u00f3w Instytutu Lotnictwa, Politechniki Warszawskie i kilku innych o\u015brodk\u00f3w. Z przykro\u015bci\u0105 nale\u017cy wszak\u017ce odnotowa\u0107, \u017ce organizatorzy nie zadbali o w\u0142a\u015bciwy dob\u00f3r przewodnicz\u0105cych sesji, co prawdopodobnie wynikn\u0119\u0142o z przypadkowej reprezentacji strony Polskiej w tzw. Komitecie Naukowym Konferencji. Kwestia ta by\u0142a poruszona na posiedzeniu CEAS Trustees Board przez naszych przedstawicieli do tego gremium, pe\u0142ni\u0105cego role zarz\u0105du wykonawczego CEAS.<\/p>\n<p>Na posiedzeniu CEAS Trustees Board zdecydowano r\u00f3wnie\u017c o miejscu kolejnej konferencji CEAS. W rozstrzygaj\u0105cym drugim tajnym g\u0142osowaniu Warszawa proponowana przez PSAA otrzyma\u0142a 5 g\u0142os\u00f3w, natomiast Bukareszt proponowany przez Rumu\u0144skie Stowarzyszenie Lotnictwa i Kosmonautyki otrzyma\u0142 6 g\u0142os\u00f3w. Moskwa proponowana przez stron\u0119 Rosyjsk\u0105 w pierwszym g\u0142osowaniu otrzyma\u0142a tylko 1 g\u0142os, ale ten jeden g\u0142os okaza\u0142 si\u0119 decyduj\u0105cy w drugim g\u0142osowaniu.<\/p>\n<p>Poziom naukowy konferencji nale\u017cy uzna\u0107 za wysoki, po ka\u017cdym referacie odbywa\u0142y si\u0119 powa\u017cne dyskusje zwi\u0105zane z prezentowanym materia\u0142em. Na szczeg\u00f3lnie wysokim poziomie by\u0142y wszystkie referaty plenarne, kt\u00f3re cieszy\u0142y si\u0119 du\u017cym zainteresowaniem.
